Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD, can develop after exposure to a traumatic or life-threatening event. Common symptoms are nightmares, flashbacks, and hypervigilance. Easily treated with EMDR or Psychedelic Assisted Therapy to resolve trauma symptoms and return to better functioning.

Complex PTSD, or C-PTSD, occurs from chronic and severe childhood trauma. Often results in emotional flashbacks and relationship difficulties. Responds well to EMDR, although greater complexity often results in a longer course of treatment. Psychedelic Assisted Therapy can address underlying traumas all at once and bring results more swiftly.

Dissociative Identity Disorder, or DID, happens when the trauma has been so severe and complex that the mind has to branch out into one or more separate "parts" in order to cope. Treatment goals include not only resolving the underlying trauma but also helping the self-system cooperate more effectively.
