Carter Rose, LMFT
Carter Rose (he/him) is excited to join the Trauma Healing Center and bring his diverse skillset to this important work. From community mental health to crisis residential care, he's seen firsthand the way trauma affects our lives, families, and neighborhoods. In addition to his clinical skills, he is also a fantastic supervisor and loves mentoring new therapists.
He recently completed EMDR training and feels passionate about bringing this powerful healing tool to his clients. After so long working with the impacts of trauma without an effective cure, this is a real gamechanger for him.
On a personal level, he also brings a wealth of lived experience in both the LGBTQIA+ and substance abuse communities. These topics always have a special place in his heart and he delights in helping people navigate their journeys with them.
In 2023 he completed a 9-month psychedelic-assisted therapy program from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). This has been life-changing education for him both personally and professionally and he's so excited to bring these skills into private practice.
